Light: very bright place

Watering: every third day
From the spring throughout the summer, this South American plant produces wonderful white flowers. But, even when it is not in flower, its patterned foliage with wavy edges is eye-catching. This plant needs plenty of humidity and normal temperatures. Its foliage should be sprayed regularly with tepid water. During the winter, reduce watering slightly for the short resting period. The annual repotting will give you an opportunity to propagate by dividing root tufts of the plant. Fill the pot one-third full of broken crock or gravel for good drainage.
To encourage flowering, keep this plant in a very bright place, but away from direct sun. The first flowers will appear in the early spring. Do not spray when your plant is in flower.
